From the bride's preparation, to those two special words, the kiss, the mothers crying, grandmas dancing, and the kids floor slides, through to the first and last dance, I will capture many special memories that seem to whizz by in an instant yet will stay in your hearts forever.

Where possible, I will visit the venue/location prior to shooting and have pre-visualized ideas that work within the surroundings to provide a diverse set of images from candid and fun through to the finer romantic and heart-warming details!

From the time of the bride getting ready, through to the end of the first dance, I'll be there to capture your special day. If you would like me to stay longer, that's not a problem.

Why choose a professional

I will either meet with you face-to-face, or have a video call for an initial consultation. I will listen to your plans and answer your questions, in some cases acting as a wedding planner. Then on the day of the wedding I will be with you for 10-12 hours. I would then begin editing each image individually, eventually cutting down to the best 500 photos (approx).

Average turnaround for your images is one month.

We chose Andy as our wedding photographer for our wedding in August 2016. Andy suggested we do an engagement shoot beforehand which was a brilliant idea. It allowed us to get to know him better and fortunately for us we were able to go to the venue itself in glorious sunshine. The weather on the actual day can be best described at atmospheric!
On the day itself Andy spent the morning with my family and I getting ready with the bridesmaids. He was great at fitting in and enjoying the day but also giving direction and letting us know what needed to happen when to get the best shots. One example of his insight was when Andy decided that rather than the traditional photo of me in my wedding dress for the first time he took a photo of my family’s reaction over my shoulder. We have had many compliments on how remarkable and moving it is and it’s one of my favourite photos of the day.

Once I was ready, Andy left and spent sometime with the groom before the ceremony. I didn’t notice Andy during the ceremony (the sign of a great photographer) but he was always present as we have wonderful photos of people’s candid reactions, smiles and laughter that really capture the mood of the ceremony. I love our first photos as a married couple, Andy utilised the short window of time before it really started raining to get some amazing shots.

Andy was great fun throughout the evening whilst always ensuring he captured the key moments. We have a truly wonderful selection of photos that we love to look through and which really bring to life the magic of the day.

Thank you, Andy.
